  • A Sales Assistant supports the sales team in various tasks to ensure smooth operations and help achieve sales goals.
  • They engage with customers, provide product information, assist with purchases, maintain the store's appearance, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service:
  • Greet and assist customers with their inquiries and product needs.
  • Provide detailed information about products and services.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to meet customer needs and boost sales.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and complaints professionally.
  • Sales Support:
  • Assist in organizing store displays and maintaining stock levels.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
  • Help manage the sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and accessible.
  • Prepare and package products for delivery or collection.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Assist in stock checks and inventory management.
  • Replenish stock and ensure products are well-organized.
  • Report low stock levels to the sales team or manager.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Assist with preparing sales reports and tracking sales goals.
  • Handle customer orders, both online and in-store.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions.
