Description

  • Coordinate daily freight forwarding operations, including imports, exports, and domestic shipments.
  • Communicate with clients, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure smooth cargo movement.
  • Track shipments, update customers on status, and handle any delays or issues.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
  • Manage warehouse coordination, inventory control, and distribution schedules.
  • Support in handling freight rates, quotations, and customer inquiries.
  • Work closely with internal teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit customs declarations for imports and exports.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade policies.
  • Classify goods based on HS codes and determine applicable duties/taxes.
  • Liaise with customs authorities, shipping lines, and clients for clearance processes.
  • Verify and process shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and permits.
  • Resolve customs-related issues and assist in tariff negotiations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and free trade agreements.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to facilitate smooth cargo release.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and customs procedures.
  • Strong understanding of tariff classifications, and customs laws.
  • Familiarity with customs clearance systems and trade compliance procedures.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
