Dexcom’s business is experiencing solid global growth and because of this the Global Procurement function is expanding the Procurement team at Dexcom Global Business Services by hiring a Manager, Supply Chain who will oversee Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Operations for Direct Materials.

Procurement works with key internal departments and external vendors. The Supply Chain Manager will support Dexcom Global Corporate business needs and procurement needs. The role is also expected to be responsible for improving, tracking and maintaining the Direct Purchasing Process. The candidate is expected to adapt to change and work efficiently with urgency. Manager of Procurement Operations will apply their diverse skillset to drive a seamless operation with the buyers, data analyst and Direct Material Sourcing Specialists including performance management. The role will report directly to the Director, International Business Operations and functionally report to the Sr. Manager, Program Management and partner with the Strategic Sourcing team.

Where You Come In

• You will oversee the group of Direct Procurement personnel, consisting of Strategic Sourcing Analysts, Analysts & Buyers.
• You will support the creation & maintenance of data, process improvement, and supplier allocations in Oracle.
• You will track and manage supplier lead times, maintain Minimum Order Quantity (MOQs) and price sheets, and measure/report performance metrics.
• You are expected to resolve invoice/payment issues, collaborate on procurement projects, and maintain knowledge of procurement processes and systems.
• You will collaborate with functional leads within the Direct and Indirect Procurement function.
  
  

What Makes You Successful

• You have a minimum 8 Years’ experience in Direct Materials Procurement
• You have experience in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and or Procurement systems skills
• You are proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• You are proficient with Procure-To-Pay (P2P)- such as Coupa and Oracle
• You are familiar with Financial Accounting principles and processes
• You have lean Six-Sigma background, familiar with process mapping and KPI tree build up
• You have formal qualification or training in Purchasing
• You have experience with Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) / Confidential Disclosure Agreement (CDA), Request for Information, quotation or proposal (RFX), Supplier selection, and Contracting Process
• You have track record of success leading and participating in cross-functional process improvement efforts, includes creating process diagram, analyzing workflow, and developing standard operation procedures.
• You have effective internal and external relationship management
• You have excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
• You have the ability to multi-task projects and meet deadlines
• You have creativity and ingenuity in problem-solving, willingness to take initiatives and innovating
