THE OPPORTUNITY
Our partner is a major independent insurance and financial services distribution group based in Brisbane, Queensland. They offer a wide range of financial, operational, and strategic support services, including access to capital, platforms, systems, processes, templates, and more, enabling business partners to scale and drive growth. The company operates across the insurance sector with three broking brands and 23 specialized independent underwriting agencies.
The team is expanding and currently looking for a
SEO and SEM Specialist that will be responsible for creating and managing digital reporting to track and analyze the performance of their online marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly update and maintain the company website to ensure content is current, relevant, and optimized for search engines.
- Conduct keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, and implement strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
- Create detailed briefs for SEO content, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals and SEO best practices.
- Plan, execute, and manage meta ad campaigns, LinkedIn campaigns, and Google Search and Display ad campaigns to achieve targeted KPIs.
- Implement and manage Google Tag Manager to track and analyze user interactions on the website.
- Utilize Google Search Console to monitor website performance, identify issues, and implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain digital reporting dashboards to provide insights into campaign performance, website traffic, and other key metrics.
- Work closely with the content, design, and development teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
Skills, Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SEO/SEM Specialist or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Sanity, Gatsby), familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and knowledge of PPC advertising and bid management tools. Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications are a plus.
- Experience managing meta ad campaigns, LinkedIn ads, and Google Search/Display ad campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
