Brief Description
The Purchasing Associate is in-charge of buying products that are essential for the company’s day to day operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reviews prices and quality of products and ensures optimal stock levels.
Research potential suppliers
Compare offers (price and quality) from suppliers and present to authorized officers for approval
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Review quality of purchased products
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
Prepare reports on purchases
Coordinate with storeroom personnel on proper storage
Coordinate with stockroom personnel to monitor stock levels, and place orders as needed.
Performs other function as may be assigned by the Head of Office.
Qualifications
BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN BUSINESS, ACCOUNTING, OR RELATED FIELD EXPERIENCE
