Shield Core is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Junior Product Manager to join our growing product team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to learn the fundamentals of product management and contribute to the success of our products offering. As a Junior Product Manager, you will work closely with experienced Product Managers, engineers, designers, and marketers to understand user needs, define product requirements, and help bring innovative products and features to market. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for technology, strong analytical skills, and a desire to shape the future of our products.


Responsibilities:

  • Learning and Development: Develop a strong understanding of Shield Core's products, target users, market trends, and competitive landscape through internal training and mentorship.
  • Market Research: Assist in conducting market research, analyzing customer feedback, and identifying opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
  • User Understanding: Help to gather and analyze user needs through surveys, interviews, and usability testing, contributing to the development of user personas and journey maps.
  • Requirements Gathering: Support the definition and documentation of product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria under the guidance of senior Product Managers.
  • Product Planning: Assist in the development and maintenance of the product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on business value and user needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Product Execution: Assist in managing the product backlog, participating in sprint planning and reviews, and ensuring timely delivery of product features.
  • Performance Monitoring: Help to track and analyze key product metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform future product decisions.
  • Documentation: Contribute to the creation of product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and internal training materials.
  • Competitive Analysis: Assist in monitoring and analyzing competitor products and strategies.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Support the communication of product updates and progress to internal stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Assist in identifying and resolving product-related issues.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in technology and a passion for creating user-centric products.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proactive and eager to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
