The Area Sales Manager for Sales represents Nissan Philippines’ goals and objectives, and maintains positive relations with the dealerships in an assigned geographic area. The role drives dealer performance, and develops a healthy and profitable dealer network.
Job Function:
- Responsible in monitoring and ensuring achievement of Retail and Wholesale Target
- Identify opportunities and performance gaps on an dealer outlet level based on sales reports, segment and grade mix, lost sales, industry movement
- Review dealer sales performance and sales funnel data (Leads, Prospects, Test Drive ratio, Closing ratio) to identify performance gaps and support the development of countermeasures and sharing best practices
- Formulation and development of dealer action-plans based on data analysis and regional requirements of dealers
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction through implemented tools at a dealer outlet level and employee level to identify deficiencies and support the development and implementation of countermeasures
- Review, monitor, implement dealer outlet sales programs and marketing plans including advertising spend as well as assess the effectiveness of their efforts
- Educate dealership personnel on current sales policies, incentives and programs
- Review NPI carflow to ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained to attain retail targets.
- Ensure dealer management address specific customer complaints that need to be resolved
- Ensuring accurate and on-time submission of dealer reports through enforcement of policies and penalty system to dealer
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related degree
Experience
- At least has three (3) years working experience in same role or function
- Previous sales or dealership experience is an advantage
- Creating and generating reports utilizing various resources, including web-based applications and databases.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong Customer service orientation and interpersonal relationship skills
- Driving skills – both automatic and manual
- Competency in English Language (written and oral), Fluent in Tagalog
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build effective relationships, whether internally or externally
- Possess effective presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and still produce result
- Ability to be flexible
Physical requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Amenable to frequent domestic & occasional overseas travel, around South East Asia or to Japan.
