As Quality Assurance Assistant you will be in-charge of the following duties and responsibilities:

Supplier Accreditation

• Conduct physical and remote audits of supplier facilities including manufacturing plants, warehouses and/or farms. This includes traceability exercise and documents review for a comprehensive assessment.
• Assist in Root Cause Analysis and CAPA assessment to address recurring quality concerns and avoid potential problems from occuring.

Product Complaint Processing

• Processing of Product Complaint Reports.
• Trend Analysis of product complaints, resolutions, and supplier non-conformances.

Conformance to Standards

• Conduct batch sampling of existing raw materials to ensure conformance to specifications within the declared self life.
• Conduct packaging assessment including physical testing and review of specifications and certifications submitted by suppliers.
• Inspection of raw materials during receiving and dispatching of good in warehouse/s.

Continuous Improvement of QA Plan

• Assist updating of Raw Materials Specifications, Product Information Sheets and other pertinent documents.
• Monitor compliance of suppliers to all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have 1-2 years’ experience in quality control or quality assurance in a food manufacturing or foodservice setting.
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Nutrition & Dietetics, Biology/Microbiology or Chemical Engineering.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in quality control inspection.
• Knowledgeable in FDA requirements like GMP, HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC, BRC, and Codex.
• Experience in Nutritional labeling and compliance is preferred.
• Process documentation.
• Sensory evaluation and basic Physico-chemical Testing.
• Must be wiiling to do fieldworks.
