What You'll Do

• Develop, implement, and enhance the functionality of the company.
• Learn existing systems functionality, architecture and topography
• Complete all phases of the software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing, and support.
• Undertake problem-solving and issue resolution.
• Communicate clearly with business users and the project team.
• Assist in automation, deployment, support and monitoring activities.
• Analyse business requirements and assist in estimating development efforts.
• Innovate with new ideas, contributing positively to growing with the team.
• Mentorship and coaching of other developers.
• Working with other departments such as customer success, marketing, and sales to advance the objectives of the company as a whole.
• Proactively identify and scope code quality initiatives to improve the security, scalability, reliability, performance and maintainability of the software product.

What You Need to Get the Job Done (Minimum Qualifications)

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and other science related fields or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Experience and skills in the following:

• Extensive experience with Flutter framework / Dart language
• Experience with integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs into Flutter applications.
• Understanding of Flutter's capabilities for building applications on both iOS, Android and Web.
• An aptitude to learn and take on new challenges.
• Comfortable with working in a dynamic team environment
•  Strong written and verbal communication skills
•  A self-motivated, self-starter.

Beneficial Skills/Experience

Experience in the following:

• Firebase, AWS Amplify, or other cloud platforms for backend integration.
• Native iOS or Android development.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Flutter applications.
• App Store Connect and Google Play Developer platforms for publishing of Apps
• Accessibility: Understanding of accessibility guidelines and best practices.
• Open-source contributions: Involvement in open-source Flutter projects.
• Web Development (HTML, CSS and Javascript)
• Cloud computing - Amazon Services, Google Cloud
• Relational Databases (preferably PostgreSql), SQL
• Data Security and Privacy
