Overview
The School Relationship Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with educational institutions, fostering relationships with school administrators, students, and other key stakeholders. This role involves developing and executing strategic initiatives to promote company products and services within schools, ensuring effective engagement and maximizing the company’s presence in the educational sector. The School Relationship Specialist plays a crucial role in driving enrollment, marketing efforts, and enhancing the company’s brand visibility in the academic community.
Functions and Responsibilities
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with school administrators, teachers, student organizations, and other educational stakeholders to promote company programs, events, and offerings.
- Student Recruitment: Develop and execute student recruitment strategies, organizing school marketing campaigns, career fairs, and other outreach activities that align with company objectives.
- Event Coordination: Plan and manage selling events, workshops, and seminars at partner schools, coordinating logistics and ensuring the smooth execution of activities to increase student and faculty engagement.
- Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the consumer team to develop school-targeted promotional materials, advertisements, and campaigns. Ensure proper branding and consistent messaging across all platforms and events.
- Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from schools, students, and parents regarding products and services, and provide insights to internal teams for continuous improvement.
- Competitor Information Collection: Monitor competitor activities in the target schools, gathering insights on their offerings, strategies, and partnerships. Provide regular reports on competitor strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning to inform internal strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

- Work Hours: The School Relationship Specialist typically works standard office hours, though some evenings and weekends may be required, particularly during school events or when visiting schools in different locations.

Job Skills & Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor's degree in education, marketing, business administration, or a related field is typically required. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in relationship management, education outreach, marketing, or sales, preferably in the education sector. Experience working with schools, universities, or other educational institutions is highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with school administrators, students, and internal teams. The ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively is essential.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills to plan and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously. Familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with school stakeholders. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to promote company products and services.
- Analytical Skills: Basic analytical skills to assess the performance of programs, gather insights, and recommend improvements based on feedback and data.
