Job Title: Medical Coder/Senior Coder
Home Health Coding Location: Exxa Building, Bridgetown,
Pasig City Department: Coding Employment Type: Full-Time Salary Range: PHP 60,000 – 65,000 per month Shift: Night Shift (11 hours/day, 4 days/week) Headcount: 5 Openings Key Responsibilities
Assign CPT, ICD-9-CM, and HCPCS codes to diagnoses, procedures, and services in alignment with medical documentation and payer guidelines.
Verify provider details and input information into the system, adhering to payer-specific coding requirements (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid).
Conduct rigorous quality checks on coded documents, track errors, and calculate accuracy rates for team members.
Manage denial follow-ups, appeals, and reimbursement disputes to resolve claim issues promptly.
Maintain daily/monthly MIS reports and ensure batch accuracy of medical charts received from clients.
Provide specialized training to coders on home health coding practices and updates.
Stay updated on AMA guidelines, regulatory changes, and best practices in medical coding.

Education & Experience - Non-Negotiable Requirement: - Minimum 1 year of direct experience in Home Health Coding
Education: - Bachelor’s degree or Postgraduate qualification in Science, Nursing, Biology, or related field.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or equivalent.
General Experience: - 1–3 years of overall medical coding experience.
Restriction: - Candidates currently or previously employed by Omega must have completed a 6-month hiatus before applying.
Skills & Competencies - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Expertise in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain 95%+ coding accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work independently.
Prior experience in claims management or customer service is a plus.

Medical Coding
