Description

Collaborates with other Developers to design computer applications and programs. His/her responsibilities include writing and debugging code.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develops software applications based on business, operational and support requirements

2. Maintains software applications and make enhancements according to project specifications

3. Provides support to IT Manager in developing project plan and schedules. Participates in requirement analysis, design, development, testing an implementation activity.

4. Performs unit testing and user acceptance testing to evaluate application functionality

5. Ensures to complete the assigned development tasks within deadlines

6. Works in compliance with coding standards and best practices.

7. Provides on-call support for new and existing applications as required.

8. Develops coding documentations and other technical specifications for assigned projects.

9. Acts as a primary contact for development queries and concerns

10. Analyzes and resolves development issues accurately.

11. Assists in other Admin IT tasks and Help Desk for system-related concerns

12. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate supervisor and/or management.

13. Assisting the development team lead with all aspects of software design and coding.

14. Attending and contributing to company development meetings.

15. Learning the codebase and improving your coding skills.

16. Writing and maintaining code.

17. Working on minor bug fixes.

18. Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems.

19. Responding to requests from the development team.

20. Gathering information from consumers about program functionality.

21. Writing reports.

22. Conducting development tests.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of working experience in a related field.
  • Other/Special Skills: Proficiency in fundamental front-end languages (e.g. HTML, CSS, most especially in JavaScript, Vue.js, and Angular.js) and back-end such as PHP Knowledge of database technology such as MySQL and MS SQL.
