Description
- Install, configure, and manage network switches, routers, and related infrastructure
- Maintain and monitor network performance, availability, and reliability
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto)
- Ensure network security and enforce access controls and policies
- Perform network upgrades, patching, and firmware updates
- Manage IP address schemes, VLANs, and subnetting
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and resolve issues
- Maintain documentation of network topology, configurations, and procedures
- Provide technical support for network-related issues and outages
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to support enterprise infrastructure
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network administration
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting:
- Network switches (Cisco & Fortinet)
- Firewalls and VPN solutions
- LAN/WAN environments and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Experience with structured cabling and physical network setup
- Strong understanding of network security practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and documentation abilities
