Job Summary:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health and strategy of the company. This role involves managing a team of accountants and finance staff while ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in financial statements, experience handling multiple companies or brands, and proficiency in various accounting software and systems.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee the preparation, accuracy, and timeliness of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to optimize financial performance.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support business objectives.
  • Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial risks across multiple entities or brands.


Leadership & Team Management

  • Manage a team of accountants and finance staff, ensuring efficiency and professional growth.
  • Delegate tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular team evaluations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the finance team.


Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.
  • Implement risk management strategies to protect company assets and mitigate financial risks.


Systems & Process Optimization

  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of accounting software and financial systems.
  • Streamline financial reporting and operational processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging financial technologies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of managerial experience in finance, preferably in a multi-company or multi-brand environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in various accounting software and systems.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to senior management (COO).
  • Willing to relocate.
