Description
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate with customers about repairs and services needed.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High/Senior High School diploma / NC II Certification is required.
- Experience Level: 3-5 years of relevant experience in automotive mechanics preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in automobile sales, maintenance, parts management, vehicle surveys, damage assessments, and painting.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Conduct repairs, assess vehicle conditions, manage parts inventory, and perform test rides.
- Working Conditions: Work in a garage or shop environment; may involve physical labor and standing for long periods.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and customer service orientation.
