Job Summary:


The Finance & Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing the complete end-to-end accounting process for our US clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and optimal process efficiency. This role involves collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial operations and client satisfaction.


  • Manage the end-to-end accounting process, including journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end closing activities for BPO clients.
  • Prepare and review accurate financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Oversee and perform account reconciliations for bank accounts, intercompany transactions, accruals, and other key accounts to ensure data accuracy.
  • Conduct financial variance analysis by comparing actual performance with forecasts, budgets, and historical data to provide insights into key financial trends.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiencies, and implement automation tools to improve operational performance for BPO clients.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, assist in external/internal audits, and support audit preparation by providing detailed financial data and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing and managing client budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with tax teams to ensure timely tax filings, compliance with local tax laws, and accurate reporting of tax liabilities for BPO clients.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting, preferably in a BPO or shared services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and local accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Has an experience in EXCEL MACROS
