Accounting Head to lead and oversee the financial accounting operations across our group of companies. The ideal candidate must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), with a strong background in multi-entity accounting, regulatory compliance, team leadership, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Financial Management & Accounting Operations

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities across all subsidiaries and business units.
• Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial reports for the group of companies.
• Manage the general ledger, including intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings.
• Review and approve journal entries, account classifications, and supporting documentation.

B. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to the management and board.
• Develop financial dashboards and KPIs to monitor company performance.

C. Audit, Compliance & Internal Controls

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely and successful audit completion.
• Ensure compliance with BIR regulations, SEC filing requirements, and other regulatory bodies.
• Implement, monitor, and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets and data integrity.

D. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Oversee tax planning, filing, and compliance including VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, and other local business taxes.
• Liaise with BIR and local government units regarding tax assessments and compliance matters.

E. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support business strategies and expansion plans.

F. Team Management & Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants and finance professionals.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, ethical accounting practices, and professional development.

Performs other duties that maybe assigned from time to time.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3 - 5 years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in a group
• Strong knowledge of PFRS, BIR regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Proven experience in multi-entity and consolidated accounting.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the Philippines.
