Description

A server's job involves providing excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking food/drink orders, serving meals, handling payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience, all while coordinating with kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to health/safety rules.

• Guest Interaction: Greet, seat, present menus, take orders (including allergies/specials), make recommendations, and check on guests throughout their meal.
• Order & Service: Accurately enter orders into POS systems, deliver food/drinks promptly, and serve accompaniments.
• Table Management: Set tables, clear used dishes, refill water, and maintain a clean, organized dining area.
• Payment Processing: Present checks, process cash/card payments, and handle transactions.
• Kitchen & Team Collaboration: Communicate orders and timing with kitchen/bar staff, assist teammates with running food or seating.
• Food Safety: Follow health, sanitation, and alcohol service policies.
