Purpose of the Job

• Provide essential support in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, andfunctionality of a facility. This role involves assisting with various operational tasks, such as cleaning, food preparation, and light maintenance.
• By ensuring that common areas and facilities are well-maintained, the Utility Aid contributes to a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.
• Additionally, the Utility Aid plays a vital role in supporting other team members, helping to enhance overall efficiency and service delivery within the organization

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of common areas, restrooms, and facilities.
• Help with inventory management, including receiving and stocking supplies.
• Perform light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down events or meetings as required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all tasks.
• Provide support to other staff members as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry items as necessary.
• Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation practices.
