Job Description: Maintenance Staff

The Maintenance Staff is responsible for ensuring that the store premises, equipment, and facilities are kept clean, safe, and fully operational. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, basic repairs, and coordinating with external service providers when needed to maintain an inviting and hygienic environment that aligns with the high standards of the cosmetics retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
• Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
• Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
• Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
• Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
• Conduct routine inspections of store facilities, lighting, air conditioning, plumbing, and other equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Support opening and closing duties that involve facility checks and securing the premises.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience in general maintenance or facilities work; retail industry experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
• Physically fit and able to lift moderate loads, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• With a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to work flexible hours   

Salary: Minimum Rate , Monday - Saturday (9AM- 6PM)
