Core Responsibilities (Marketing)
- Research and analyze the Japanese market and competitors to identify customer needs.
- Develop and execute medium- to long-term marketing strategies based on market research findings.
- Build and manage the corporate website, continuously optimizing the user experience (UX).
- Implement customer acquisition and ranking-improvement initiatives using search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM).
- Operate and optimize digital channels, including social media (SNS) and online advertising.
- Plan and execute integrated promotion campaigns that synchronize online and offline efforts.
- Oversee end-to-end marketing activities targeting corporate clients, from lead generation through nurturing.
Other Responsibilities (Support for Establishing Japanese Office)
- This role will be executed in two phases:
■ Phase 1 (Preparation for Launch)
- Tokyo Office Setup Support: Assist with research and negotiations related to office leasing agreements.
- Initial Support for Establishing and Operating the Japanese Entity: Serve as the first employee in Japan, supporting various incorporation procedures and initial operations.
- Localization of Japan-Targeted Content: Launch the official Japanese website based on the existing global site, including translation and adaptation of Chinese content into Japanese.
- Translation of Marketing Materials: Translate and proofread marketing collateral such as product catalogs and brochures from Chinese to Japanese.
■ Phase 2 (Full-Scale Expansion)
- Comprehensive SEO/SEM Implementation: Leverage the Phase 1 website as a foundation to drive organic search traffic and effective lead acquisition.
- Social Media Marketing: Manage Japan-focused accounts on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, including content planning, creation, and community development.
- Note: SCM (Supply Chain Management) has been interpreted here as “SNS (Social Media)” to fit the general scope of this role. Should you wish to engage in SCM activities, the job description will need to be adjusted accordingly.
Required Qualifications
Education & Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proven and proficient experience with online marketing tools, including SEO, SEM (e.g., Google Ads), and SNS advertising.
Data Analysis Ability:
- Able to analyze data from Google Analytics, Search Console, etc., and propose and implement improvements based on quantitative evidence.
Communication Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit to collaborate smoothly with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., content teams, development teams, external agencies) and drive projects forward.
Adaptability & Proactiveness:
- Self-management and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-changing digital environment.
Language Proficiency:
- Business-level reading, writing, and speaking skills in both Japanese (native or equivalent fluency) and Chinese.
Professional Experience:
- At least three years of practical experience in digital marketing roles (including SEO/SEM) in the Japanese market.
Other:
- Japanese citizenship or indefinite work authorization in Japan (e.g., permanent residency) is required.
- This position requires a specific linguistic background due to the nature of content and communication tasks aimed primarily at native Japanese speakers.
Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills
- Practical experience in B2B marketing.
- Knowledge of website development and management (e.g., experience with CMS such as WordPress; basic understanding of HTML).
- Experience working in a multinational team or global company.
- Basic English literacy for internal documentation and tool usage.
