Description

  • As a Travel Agency Reservation Officer at EyeLight Travel and Tours, you will be responsible for managing and processing travel bookings for our clients.
  • Your role will involve handling inquiries, providing travel advice, and ensuring a seamless reservation experience.
  • Booking Management: Handle reservations for flights, hotels, and vacation packages, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by answering client inquiries, offering travel advice, and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Travel Planning: Assist clients in planning their trips, including itinerary creation, destination recommendations, and travel arrangements.
  • System Management: Utilize our reservation system to input and update client information, manage bookings, and generate reports.
  • Vendor Liaison: Communicate with airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers to confirm reservations and resolve any issues.
  • Documentation: Prepare and send travel documents, such as tickets, itineraries, and vouchers, to clients.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve booking conflicts or discrepancies, ensuring client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Amadeus GDS: Must have hands-on experience in booking and issuing flight tickets
  • Experience in ticketing operations: Knowledge of fare rules, refunds, revalidations, and exchanges
  • Tour packaging knowledge: Familiar with planning and curating travel itineraries tailored to client needs
  • Visa processing experience: Willing to learn or assist in the visa application process; prior exposure is a plus
  • Strong communication skills: Able to professionally engage with clients and partners via phone, email, or in-person
  • Organized and detail-oriented: Can manage multiple bookings and deadlines efficiently
  • Team player: Willing to collaborate with colleagues in a fast-paced travel environment
  • Education: Preferably a graduate of Tourism, Hospitality Management, or any related field
