The Training Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising learning and development programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of bakery and pastry shop employees. This role ensures that all staff are properly trained in product preparation, customer service, food safety, and operational standards. The Training Manager will work closely with Operations, Quality Assurance, and HR teams to support organizational growth and maintain consistent service quality across all branches.


  • Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for new and existing employees, covering product knowledge, baking techniques, customer service, sales, and store operations.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions and coaching in branches to ensure employees meet operational and performance standards.
  • Create training manuals, modules, videos, and other learning materials suited for bakery and retail operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, performance reviews, and on-site observations.
  • Train branch managers, supervisors, and team leaders on leadership, people management, and store performance improvement.
  • Ensure all training content complies with food safety, sanitation, and DOLE labor guidelines.
  • Identify skill gaps, recommend development plans, and propose new training initiatives.
  • Conduct regular fieldwork to visit branches and observe employee performance, store processes, and training needs.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Product Development teams for updates on new products, recipes, and procedures.
  • Prepare training reports, KPI updates, and improvement plans for management.
  • Maintain an organized training database and ensure timely scheduling of programs.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Food Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Training & Development, preferably in a retail, F&B, bakery, or hospitality environment.
  • Background or familiarity with food handling, baking processes, food safety, and customer service best practices is an advantage.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to design training modules, manuals, and instructional materials.
  • Willing to do frequent fieldwork/branch visits and travel to multiple store locations.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills; capable of managing multiple training schedules.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, and digital training tools.
  • Must be proactive, approachable, and able to work with employees at all levels.
