Location: Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra, India

Job Type: Permanent

Work Mode: On-site

Experience: 1–5 Years

Salary Range: ₹2,10,000 – ₹2,50,000 per annum


About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and target-driven Telecaller to support our student outreach and admission-related conversations. Candidates with EdTech experience or existing contacts in colleges and schools are highly preferred. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, engaging with prospective students or institutions, and contributing to overall enrollment growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to prospective students, parents, colleges, and schools to introduce educational programs.
  • Follow up on leads, convert inquiries into admissions, and meet daily/weekly call targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with colleges, schools, and educational institutions.
  • Provide accurate information about programs, admissions, fees, and timelines.
  • Understand student and parent needs to recommend suitable educational offerings.
  • Handle objections, provide solutions, and work toward closing admissions.
  • Maintain detailed records of calls, leads, and follow-ups using CRM tools.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and personalized communication.
  • Collaborate with the sales and admissions team to achieve collective targets.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and new education programs.


Required Skills & Qualifications

• EdTech experience preferred

• Existing contact network with colleges and schools preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proven sales experience with a strong track record of meeting/exceeding targets

• Strong understanding of higher education programs

• Customer-focused with active listening and personalization abilities

• Skilled in handling objections & driving conversions

• Effective time management and ability to prioritize leads

• High motivation and goal-oriented mindset

• Proficiency in CRM tools for lead management

• Adaptable with a continuous learning approach

• Resilient and persistent, able to handle rejection professionally

• Strong team collaboration skills
