Job Responsibilities
- Technical Architecture Design and Implementation
• Lead the design and development of the company’s overall trading infrastructure, with a focus on supporting high-frequency trading, CTA, arbitrage, and other strategies on centralized exchanges (CEX), ensuring low latency, high concurrency, and high availability.
• Build a high-performance underlying framework in C++, optimizing core modules such as memory management, multithreaded parallel processing, and network communication to meet microsecond-level response requirements.
• Design a system architecture that supports multiple portfolio managers (PMs), enabling strategy isolation, dynamic resource allocation, and cross-team collaboration to enhance development efficiency and accelerate strategy iteration.
- Team Management and Collaboration
• Recruit and manage the technical team, establish R&D processes and standards, and drive technical documentation and code quality control.
• Collaborate closely with research, trading, and risk management departments to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring system alignment with business objectives.
- System Optimization and Risk Management
• Continuously monitor system performance, optimize latency and throughput through load testing and stress simulation, and address high-concurrency challenges in extreme market conditions.
• Design and implement risk control systems, integrating real-time monitoring, circuit breakers, and abnormal trade interception functions to safeguard funds and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Technology Exploration
• Track technology trends in the cryptocurrency industry, explore applications in decentralized exchanges (DEX), on-chain data integration, and AI-driven strategy optimization, and provide technical innovation direction for the company.
Job Requirements
- Technical Skills
• Expert in C++ with a solid foundation in algorithms and data structures; experienced in high-performance computing optimizations (e.g., SIMD instructions, lock-free queues, memory pools).
• Hands-on experience developing low-latency trading systems, including CEX API integration, order-book handling, and market-data parsing.
• Proficient in multithreading programming, distributed system design, and Linux kernel tuning (e.g., CPU affinity, zero-copy, network stack optimization).
- Industry Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantitative trading, high-frequency trading, or hedge fund technology development, with at least 3 years in technical management and proven ownership of the full lifecycle development of complex trading systems.
• Deep understanding of CTA, arbitrage, and high-frequency trading strategy implementation, market microstructure, and transaction cost analysis.
- Team and Project Management
• Strong cross-department collaboration skills, capable of effectively communicating business requirements and technical solutions to drive efficient team execution.
• Experience leading teams to build technical architectures from the ground up, with demonstrated resource planning and project management abilities.
- Other Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of the cryptocurrency market and familiarity with the trading rules and API characteristics of major CEX platforms such as Binance and Coinbase.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with DEX architecture, on-chain data analysis tools (e.g., Flux, The Graph), or smart contract development.
• Expertise in Python/Cython mixed programming, enabling seamless transition between strategy backtesting and live trading logic.
- Industry Experience Preferred Qualifications
• Experience as a technical lead at a multi-PM hedge fund, successfully supporting parallel development and deployment of multiple strategy teams.
• Managed trading systems with assets under management (AUM) exceeding $100 million, with proven experience in scaling technology and ensuring stability under large capital volumes.
