Job Description

Responsible for managing training and development programs to enhance employee skills and improve operational efficiency.

  • Conduct surveys, interviews, and performance reviews to detect knowledge gaps.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify performance challenges and recurring issues.
  • Treat problems as opportunities to strengthen people and systems.
  • Design tailored training modules that reflect continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Blend in-house expertise with external resources to raise training standards.
  • Inspire employees to strive for growth beyond compliance.
  • Ensure all programs support the company vision of serving more customers and serving them better, faster, and at less cost.
  • Translate training goals into actionable strategies with measurable outcomes.
  • Use Enculturation and compliance programs to reinforce long-term cultural alignment.
  • Go beyond routine schedules to meet urgent or special training needs.
  • Demonstrate resilience when facing setbacks, limited resources, or employee resistance.
  • Show malasakit by balancing organizational requirements with employee development.
  • Produce measurable improvements in employee performance, error reduction, and service quality.
  • Track the ROI of training programs through reports, metrics, and success stories.
  • Contribute to building a stronger, more competitive, and resilient organization.
  • Conduct post-training assessments, track KPIs, and collect structured feedback.
  • Issue follow-up surveys (e.g., 30 days after training) to gauge long-term effectiveness.
  • Revise and refine training programs to match evolving business needs.
  • Keep detailed records of all training activities, attendees, and outcomes.
  • Document extraordinary accomplishments (success cases, breakthroughs) and problems encountered (setbacks, resistance, challenges) as a reference for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare quarterly reports to management on training outcomes, alignment with PABSK, and department-level improvements.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in training technologies and methods.
  • Introduce e-learning, microlearning, gamification, and simulation-based programs where appropriate.
  • Promote lifelong learning and encourage employees to pursue certifications and personal development.
  • Organize knowledge-sharing activities such as “Lunch & Learn.”
  • Provide sponsorship for professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma).
  • Design and deliver practical, job-focused training for all roles in operating units and support departments.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to close skill gaps and improve productivity.
  • Perform other tasks as may be delegated by management in line with organizational growth and training needs.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, or related field
  • At least 5 years in training & development
  • With proven track record of executing programs that improve operational efficiency, and growth of personnel
