• Maintain and administer computer systems and related computing environments
• Perform regular system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware and server resources
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
• Ensure network security and connectivity
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
• Respond to and resolve help desk requests from employees
• Update systems as soon as new versions of OS and application software are released
• Coordinate with network engineers to ensure smooth operation across the organization
• Monitor and test system performance and provide performance statistics and reports

Qualifications:

• 7–10 years of Linux system administration and deployment experience
• Proficient in Linux distributions, especially RHEL
• Hands-on experience in security systems, firewalls, intrusion detection, anti-virus, authentication systems, and log management
• Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
• Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible), code management (GIT, GitLab), and IT technologies (DevOps, TDD, CI/CD)
• IP network troubleshooting skills (Wireshark)
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) is a plus
• Experience with Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) tools
• Knowledge of vulnerability management tools and assessment processes
• Experience in conducting penetration testing and interpreting results
• Ability to identify threats, recommend countermeasures, and perform advanced trend analysis
• Strong documentation skills related to IT infrastructure, security tools, and best practices
• Understanding of risk assessment methods and technologies
