Prediction Market · CLOB Liquidity Engine

We are building the next-generation Prediction Market’s CLOB (Central Limit Order Book) and liquidity engine, aiming to combine the determinism and composability of traditional high-performance trading systems with Web3’s open settlement and verifiability.

You will be directly involved in designing and implementing the matching engine, order lifecycle, risk and liquidation logic, and on-chain/off-chain collaborative architecture, serving as one of the core engineering leads of the system.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a CLOB matching and liquidity engine tailored for Prediction Markets

• Order book structure design (price-time priority / batch auction / hybrid)

• Matching, cancellations, partial fills, and deterministic execution guarantees

• Build a high-performance trading system

• Low-latency matching and in-memory order book

• High concurrency, replayable, and auditable matching logic

• Design an off-chain matching + on-chain settlement architecture

• State synchronization and verifiable schemes such as Merkle proofs, zk proofs, and commit-reveal

• Interface design with smart contract liquidation and settlement modules

• Implement Prediction Market–specific logic

• Support multi-outcome markets (Yes/No / multi-choice)

• Market resolution, settlement, and oracle interactions

• Risk exposure, margin/collateral logic (where applicable)

• Collaborate with product, research, and quantitative/market-making teams

• Support professional market-making and active trading strategies

• Optimize matching rules and liquidity curves

• Continuously improve system performance, security, and maintainability

• Conduct stress testing, backtesting, and failure recovery

• Ensure trading fairness and manage MEV/latency edge risks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years of backend/system engineering experience

• 2+ years of experience with trading systems, Web3, or financial systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CLOB or matching engines

• Experience with DEX, perpetual contracts, or Prediction Markets

• Familiarity with exchange, market-making, and quantitative trading infrastructure

• Proficiency in one or more of the following (core strength required in at least one):

Back-End / Systems:

• Rust / Go / C++ / Java

• Node.js / TypeScript (for API/orchestration)

• Concurrency programming, memory management, low-latency system design

Blockchain / Web3:

• Solidity / Foundry / Hardhat

• EVM interactions and event-driven architectures

• On-chain settlement and state machine design

• Solid understanding of core trading system concepts:

• Order Book, Matching, Latency, Fairness

• Replay, Determinism, State Consistency

• Strong system design and abstraction skills, capable of owning core modules independently

• Proficient in reading English technical documentation and quickly assimilating overseas infrastructure and research

Nice to Have

• Experience with Prediction Markets (Polymarket, Kalshi, Augur, Futarchy)

• Familiarity with batch auctions, frequent batch auctions, or AMM-CLOB hybrids

• Knowledge of verifiable off-chain matching designs

• Merkle state commitments

• zk proofs, fraud proofs, or optimistic settlement

• Background in quantitative trading, market making, or trading infrastructure

• Familiarity with DevOps/SRE practices

• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD

• Experience with stress testing, monitoring, and failure recovery

• Contributions to open-source matching engines, trading systems, or Web3 infrastructure projects
