Job Description
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and bar bending is an advantage
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape steel bars using manual or power tools
- Tie and fix reinforcement bars and steel meshes accurately
- Install rebar for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and walls
- Secure steel reinforcement using wire, clips, or welding when required
- Check alignment, spacing, and placement according to specifications
- Work with concrete teams before and during concrete pouring
- Follow safety rules and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and safe
