Key Responsibilities: 

• Prioritize and Manage Tasks: 
  • Liaise with DevOps team to ensure that work is carried out efficiently and on schedule, prioritizing tasks based on business needs.
  • Actively participate in and lead round-the-clock support operations, providing expert assistance and resolving complex issues.
  • Manage and enhance cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, and GCP 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software infrastructure issues 
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for multiple software applications and environments. 
• Collaborate Across Teams: 
  • Work closely with software developers, quality assurance engineers and IT professionals to guarantee smooth deployment, automation and management of software infrastructure.
• Stay Updated on Technology: Keep up to date with emerging DevOps technologies and practices, evaluating their potential impact on current systems and processes.
• Mentor Junior Engineers: Guide and support junior engineers, sharing expertise and best practices to enhance their skills and performance.
• Drive Strategic Improvements: 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to strategic enhancements in DevOps practices and tools. 
  • Automate software deployment, configuration, and upkeep processes

Project/Role Specific Skill Requirements: 

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or any related field or equivalent practical experience is an advantage 
• With 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Advanced knowledge in Azure Kubernetes Service and concepts (clusters, deployments, pods, services, persistent volumes, secrets, configmaps); with the ability to migrate a platform from docker compose to Kubernetes 
• Strong proficiency in Azure Cloud resources: Azure Keyvault, Storageaccount, SQL services, Container Registry; as well as Connecting Azure Cloud resources together securely: Managed Identity, Service principal, RBAC
• Understanding of docker, docker-compose, fabric and ansible.
• Strong proficiency in  Linux systems and shell scripts
• Basic scripting skills in Python
