Position Title: Sales & Marketing Lead

Reports to: Country Manager


Role Summary:

In this role, you will work as part of Management Strategies in widening our network of clients to continuously help us live out our purpose of transforming people, organizations and society.


As the Sales & Marketing Lead, you will spearhead business development, lead generation, client acquisition, and their impact on revenue generation and profitability done in compliance with Management Strategies’ branding and standards. Your responsibility includes building new partnerships in the Philippine market and ensuring alignment of our marketing strategy to business goals.


General Responsibilities:


Business Development

  • Develop sales strategy for all MgtStrat services
  • Develop market and networks using different platforms, tools, & strategies to acquire new clients


Lead Generation

  • Generate and manage leads that convert to sales
  • Understand our customers and mount communication campaigns that drive connection, engagement, and ultimately sales
  • Be future-focused, seek out market shifts, and proactively position MgtStrat for success in the evolving landscape


Marketing Strategy

  • Build overall marketing strategy and define the KPI’s that will support MgtStrat’s vision and goals
  • Create marketing plans and manage implementation, including marketing investments and budgets
  • Provide operational oversight for the Marketing Team and external partners vis-à-vis the requirements of all of the company


Internal Collaboration and Supervision

  • Supervise the Marketing Office and Sales & Marketing Associate and support their development and growth
  • Collaborate with Sales Team, heads of other business units, innovation pods, and affiliates to bring to life MgtStrat’ value proposition to clients, customers, and consultants
  • Align with the partners of MgtStrat on the direction for the organization and consults as appropriate prior to decision making


Minimum Qualifications:

  • With 5-8 years work experience in B2B sales, marketing, client sourcing, networking (ideally from the human capital management or learning & development services/solutions industry)
  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration/management, or other related courses (marketing & communications, economics, finance, behavioral sciences, etc.)
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms is a plus
  • Possess the following competencies:
  • Sales and business development - Actively seeks opportunities to deliver sales performance targets through consultative selling, marketing efforts and strategic partnerships.
  • Communication skills - Demonstrates effective presentation skills, conveys messages effectively through various methods and media, and shows ease with the use of virtual and in-person tools to communicate and network.
  • Market knowledge - Actively seeks information, updates and trends affecting MgtStrat and our clients. Uses this information to make Mgtstrat more responsive to the changes in the business environment.
  • Strategic thinking - Uses a systems approach in understanding clients’ business and in proposing appropriate approaches, solutions and interventions.
  • Engagement management - Takes ownership and successfully delivers, manages and evaluates an engagement to meet client needs and objectives.
