About the role



New Flavor House, Inc. is seeking a talented Research and Development Supervisor to join our dynamic team in our state-of-the-art facilities in Potrero Malabon City, Metro Manila. As the Research and Development Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and enhancing our product offerings within the food technology and safety industry. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.

What you'll be doing

• Leading and overseeing the research and development team in the creation of new and improved flavor products

• Conducting market research to identify trends and consumer preferences, and translating these insights into innovative product concepts

• Designing and executing research experiments to test and refine product formulations, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless product development and launch

• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments, technologies, and best practices in food technology and safety

• Mentoring and guiding the research and development team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

• Reporting on project progress, budgets, and key performance indicators to senior management

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field, with a strong background in food technology and safety

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a research and development role within the food industry

• Proven track record of successfully developing and launching new food products

• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills

• Strong project management and team leadership abilities

• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for product development and testing

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments
