We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our construction supervision team for a major infrastructure project. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of project costs, from estimating and budgeting to contract administration and final account reconciliation. The role is crucial in ensuring the project is completed within its approved budget and complies with contractual obligations.

• Prepare cost estimates, bill of quantities (BOQ), and cost plans based on project designs and specifications.
• Monitor and control project expenditures, ensuring cost efficiency and value for money.
• Evaluate contractor claims, variations, and change orders, and recommend approvals as appropriate.
• Assist in procurement and contract administration, including pre-tender estimates, bid evaluations, and contract award recommendations.
• Track project progress and prepare monthly valuations, interim payment certificates, and final accounts.
• Participate in risk management and cost mitigation planning.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to resolve cost-related issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to cost and contract matters.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Professional license or certification (e.g., PRC Registered Civil Engineer, RICS, CIQS) is preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost engineering, preferably in infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in FIDIC or similar contract conditions is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market pricing.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying and project management software (e.g., CostX, Candy, MS Excel).
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
