About the role

We are seeking a Junior Field Engineer to join our project-based team at Digicore Integrated IT Solutions in Metro Manila. You will be responsible for on-site technical support, maintenance, and implementing IT solutions to help clients meet their business goals.

Project location and duration will vary depending on client requirements and scope of work.

Work Location:

Candidates must be willing to work anywhere in Luzon.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct site surveys and inspections.
• Install, troubleshoot, integrate, and maintain IT hardware and software related to Surveillance and Security Systems, Networks and Enterprise Solutions, and Audio-Video equipment.
• Assist with excavation, demolition, formwork, waterproofing, landscaping, finishing, and other aspects of general construction.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a ready-for-service condition.
• Load, unload, and transport construction and IT materials.
• Erect and dismantle forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• Perform site clean-up and debris removal.
• Maintain full accountability for the safe operation, cleaning, and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Able to work with drills, grinding machines, chippers, jackhammers, and other related equipment as needed.
• Perform routine system checks and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Work with the Technical team to ensure the successful delivery of IT solutions.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and provide prompt technical support.
• Document all work accurately and keep detailed records of procedures.
• Comply with safe work practices and procedures.
• Other duties assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/College Degree in Information Technology, Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Construction) or equivalent
• With experience in installation, repair, maintenance of various IT products (hardware, software, surveillance and security systems, networks, enterprise solutions, audio-video equipment)
• Willing to do fieldwork/physical labor and strenuous tasks (with experience in Construction or General Labor is an advantage)
• Must be comfortable in heavy lifting over extended periods of time
• Available for open overtime and flexible shifting schedules, primarily night shifts schedule
• Willingness to work outdoors, in all acceptable kinds of weather unless deemed unsafe
• Willing to travel to client/project sites or to relocate if necessary
• Available for extended assignments at different locations
• Self-motivated and able to work with a minimal of supervision
• Open-minded team player with good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Skilled in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Strong technical, problem-solving, analytical, and development abilities
• Having own motorcycle and a valid driver's license is an advantage
• Willing to start immediately
