We are hiring an experienced IT Quality Engineer to support a new Agile sprint team focused on validating security fixes and maintaining regression stability for the Point of Care Assist (POCA) application. This is a remote role based in the Philippines, collaborating with a small team to ensure API and UI quality throughout development cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate security fixes and ensure API/UI regression tests are not impacted
• Design and execute manual and automated tests for RESTful APIs using JSON or XML
• Collaborate with developers in an Agile environment to sustain test coverage and product stability
• Perform API automation testing using Karate or Rest Assured (mandatory)
• Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines using Git and GitHub Actions
• Document and track defects, perform root cause analysis, and recommend improvements

Required Skills:

• 6 to 7 years of experience in software QA processes, tools, and methodologies
• 3 years of hands-on experience in RESTful API testing (manual/automated using JSON or XML)
• 3 years of API automation testing using Karate or Rest Assured
• 3 years of experience with Git and GitHub Actions
• 3 years of experience using API testing tools such as SOAPUI or Postman

Preferred Skills:

• 3 years of experience in the healthcare IT industry
• Experience working in Agile teams and remote environments
