Perform vendor research and selection to enhance profitability, reduce operating costs and boost efficiency.
Maintain cordial working relationships with vendors and supervise vendor activities.
Sign and review purchasing agreements with vendors, monitor their performance and renegotiate contracts.
Manage purchase orders, oversee local and international shipping schedules and maintain purchase records.
Coordinate with origin/shipper, broker and forwarder to process and/or follow up importation documents.
Work with warehouse staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies.
Conduct ongoing market research to identify beneficial purchase agreements and potential vendors.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management or relevant field.
At least 2 years of working experience as Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Highly proficient in the use of MS application.
Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.
Outstanding problem-solving skills.
Good time management abilities.
