Description

  • The production planner always prepares the plans, Monitors, and production schedules for the manufacture of apparel or commercial products.
  • Creating and maintaining production schedules to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Estimating material requirements and coordinating with merchandising to ensure the availability of raw materials on time according to the BOM sheet.
  • A production planner assesses production capacity and adjusts schedules as needed to meet demand. Understanding capacity product by product maximizes proper utilization.
  • Monitoring daily production output and production processes to maintain quality standards and minimize defects.
  • Managing inventory levels to optimize efficiency and minimize excess stock.
  • Keep communication with relevant departments, including design, procurement, and manufacturing, to coordinate production activities.
  • Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the production process, such as delays or quality concerns, and taking the lead to resolve.
  • Optimizing production processes to minimize costs while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines. Garment costing is the heart of this business. So cost analysis must be accurate.
  • Analyzing production data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and make informed decisions.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding production processes and product safety.
  • This is the thing that comes first in the mind of a production planner, keep in mind to complete production.

Requirements

·        Graduate of Engineering, Business, or any Supply Chain Management course

·        At least 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing company

·        With very keen attention to detail and discipline for routines and processes

·        Solutions-oriented, able to think and act quickly

·        Forward-thinker, learns from challenges and is able to plan out for the future

·        Computer Proficient 

·        Willing to work on-site in Quezon City
