PLANNING

SUPERVISOR (US MILITARY CATERING)


 Responsible for overseeing production and service planning to ensure seamless execution of US Military catering operations. The Planning Supervisor plays a key role in aligning production schedules, logistics, and manpower planning with military requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments under structured systems and mission-driven timelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and event-specific catering plans in alignment with US Military requirements.
  • Coordinate production schedules with Kitchen Manager, Service Supervisor, Store Supervisor, and Purchase Coordinator to ensure readiness of meals, supplies, and logistics.
  • Communicate plans clearly to kitchen, service, logistics, and store teams, ensuring accountability and execution.
  • Monitor progress of operations against the plan, adjusting schedules as needed to meet mission requirements.
  • Prepare and submit planning reports, forecasts, and documentation to management.


Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or operations management (preferably in catering, hospitality, or institutional environments).
  • Strong knowledge of production and service workflows, logistics, and resource allocation.
  • Proven ability to manage planning systems in high-volume, structured environments.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for planning, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to plan raw material usage and calculate purchase quantities based on headcounts, menus, and operational forecasts.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to operational demands and mission-driven timelines.
  • Proficiency in English communication (both spoken and written).
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for work assignments.
  • Can work in a shift schedule.
  • High level of accountability, teamwork, and discipline in following established procedures.
