The Operator is responsible for performing manual or automated operations to produce products according to documented specifications, standards, and customer-specific requirements.

A. ASSEMBLY & TEST

PRE-ASSEMBLY

• Receive endorsement from the Outgoing Group Leader to ensure continuity of lot processing.
• Inform the Group Leader regarding the scheduled due date of the certification ID to avoid disqualification or re-qualification.

LOT HANDLING

• Receive and validate the lot and process traveller provided by the Group Leader to ensure that previous operations have been accomplished prior to processing of units.
• Receive and validate materials and bill of materials (BOM) by comparing materials traceability with the information indicated in the BOM to ensure that there are no discrepancies prior to the use of actual materials.
• Transact the activities in LaMS (Labor Management System) by using the specific updating/ transaction terminals in the line to record the non-standard activities and set-up.
• Perform lot processing based on the documented assembly specifications and safety standards where you are certified to produce the output required per lot.
• Conduct units inspection (i.e., online, 100%, sampling, surveillance) as required by the procedure/ operation to ensure that assembled units/products conform to the documented specifications, quality standards, and customer-specific requirements.
• Record and transact finished lots on the process traveler and LaMS for information on lot data and details.
• Endorse finished lots to the Group Leader together with relevant documents, to transfer the lot to the next operations.
• Assist and guide newly hired Operators through the buddy system to ensure knowledge and skills are acquired prior to the qualifying test of QA.

POST-ASSEMBLY

• Accomplish endorsement forms for the next shift Group Leader to endorse all unfinished tasks or line status.
