Qualifications:

• At least a college-level or two-year vocational/technical course.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat, and efficient manner.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience in tool inventory management is preferred.

Job Description:

• Track all tools and equipment, maintain accurate records of quantity and condition, and conduct regular inventory checks and results.
• Distribute tools, equipment, and, if applicable, personal protective equipment (PPE) to employees and contractors to ensure their safe return after use.
• Inspect returned tools for damage, wear, or unserviceable condition. Quarantine damaged items and report them to management.
• Maintain a well-organized and secure storage area for easy accessibility and efficient workflow.
• Implement good housekeeping principles, such as the 5S method.
• Monitor stock levels of tools and machine parts. Prepare requests on a timely basis when needed.
• Generate reports on tool usage, maintenance, and supply levels.
• Enforce safety protocols and proper handling procedures for all tools and equipment.
• Performs other related duties which may be assigned from time to time.
