Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program

Valid plumbing license or certification

Proven experience as a professional plumber

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and tools

Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Good physical condition and manual dexterity

Strong communication and customer service skills

Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts

Responsibilities:

Install and repair plumbing systems and fixtures

Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety and functionality

Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications

Identify and resolve plumbing issues efficiently

Maintain accurate records of work performed

Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations

Collaborate with contractors and other construction professionals

Provide cost estimates and timelines for plumbing projects

Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems

Respond to emergency plumbing calls as needed
