  • Creates operational mining infrastructure and resources schedule.
  • Ensures the implementation of health, safety and environment in mine plan and mine design process
  • Reviews conceptual, mine design and project work for accuracy, feasibility and degree of completion
  • Compiles the project input to the strategic business plans for mine
  • Supports ongoing planning of workforce and equipment requirements, operating consumables mine services (e.g. pumping, materials handling), mine development and infrastructure, and associ- ated activities
  • Assessment of equipment services rendered to its proper charging
  • Updating of Mine database
  • Develop detailed mine plans and schedules to optimize resource extraction.
  • Utilize Surpac software for geological modeling and mining optimization.
  • Collaborate with geological teams to ensure accurate data utilization in planning.
  • Monitor and analyze mining operations to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management on mine planning progress.
  • Ensures the implementation of health, safety and environment in mine plan and mine design process
  • Analyzes the performance of equipment and manpower
  • Highlight deviations to the plan and identify opportunity to catch up or exceed the plan
  • Analyzes production results against planned schedules and recommends corrective action
  • Provides assistance in ISO requirements and compliance as needed.


Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field
  • Experience Level: With at least 4 years of experience as a Mine Engineer in mining industryFamiliar in mine planning, design and scheduling
  • Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in Surpac software; strong analytical skills
  • Qualities and Traits: Attention to detail; strong problem-solving abilities
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
