Job Description
- Safely transport company staff, products, or materials to and from designated locations.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery.
- Perform routine checks on the company vehicle (fuel, oil, tire pressure, etc.) and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper documentation of the vehicle (logbook, maintenance records, etc.).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure passenger and cargo safety.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary.
- Keep records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver or similar role.
- Familiarity with local and interstate roadways.
- Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items when needed.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
