Job Description
Description
- Process semi-monthly and/or weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain and reconcile payroll records, ensuring compliance with policies and laws in US
- Strong knowledge of Federal and State Laws, in multiple states, experience with on-boarding, terminations, benefits, wage deductions, and maintaining employee files.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
- Prepare payroll reports for record-keeping and managerial review
- Distribute wages through pay cards, checks, or bank deposits
- Process employee record updates and leave requests
- Support managers with HR matters, including employee relations, benefits, and unemployment responses
- Collaborate with teams to address payroll corrections and meet deadlines
- Perform additional HR and payroll tasks as assigned
- Preferably with Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related finance courses
- At least 3 years of payroll experience
- Background in BPO or managing multiple clients is a strong plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Tech-savvy, analytical, and highly organized
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and resourceful team player
- Can work effectively and efficiently in remote set up and in mid shift schedule
