The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable labor, tax, and statutory regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and coordination with Human Resources and Finance to maintain accurate payroll records.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process Manual Computation using Excel – Prepare and understand the computation specially the multiplier for the excess work hours.
• Process Manual Timekeeping per cutoff – know how to read and process timekeeping
• Monthly Government report – Prepare Report for SSS, PHic, HDMF Loans and contributions and WHT per month.
• Payroll Accounting Entries – Prepare the accounting entries every after payroll release. Including Final Pay Maternity Benefits and other transactions that was processed under Payroll.
• Final Pay Computation – Make sure all items for final pay are considered and compliant with the existing rules and regulations
• 13th month pay computation – Compute in accordance with the existing rules and regulations.
• Annualization – Process Annual Tax every year
• Retro computation – Compute retro based on back dated effectivity
• Compliance – Ensure compliance with the Labor Code and other Government Agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a medium to large organization.
• Strong knowledge of payroll principles, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
