Balikbayan Handicrafts is a retail and export company that offers a diverse collection of unique, traditional, and innovative Philippine handicrafts — from wooden furniture and home décor to fashion accessories, local delicacies, and more.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Conducting market research to identify current trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for new product development.
• Generating and conceptualizing fresh product ideas based on insights and feedback.
• Creating detailed product specifications and prototype designs to guide development.
• Ensuring products meet quality standards and brand objectives.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including merchandising, manufacturing, sales, and design—to ensure smooth execution from concept to launch.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To be considered for the role, candidates must:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Design, Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media, Textile Design, or any related field.
• Be a fresh graduate with up to one (1) year of relevant experience (particularly in visual merchandising or product development (a plus).
• Have basic knowledge of design and editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar applications (a plus).
• Be able to submit a portfolio showcasing previous design or product development work.
• Willing to work on-site in Makati City.
