Receive IT equipment delivered to Information Services, including logging received equipment, verify their contents, ensure they match purchase order, storing it securely, conducting periodic inventories and logging distribution.
Track asset utilization and ensure assets not in use are recovered, inventoried, relocated, or disposed of in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Manage the movement of equipment between locations including generating shipping labels and researching shipments as needed.
Initiate equipment repair, shipping them to manufacture and monitor their status for repair and/or replacement.
Maintains and develops processes for check in and check out of loaned equipment.
Maintain and manage stockrooms, submit order requests for network equipment and PC accessories to maintain stockroom inventory levels up to date and apply FIFO methods when assigning assets.
Conduct inventory and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly asset reports.
Responsible for following, supporting, and enforcing all internal control processes and procedures.
Work closely with multiple departments to support IT operations.
Assist with hardware removal/decommissioning in the local office.
Assist in other job duties as determined by the Manager of IT Operations.

Degree preferred, in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
2 to more years of experience in IT asset management or related roles.
Experience with asset management tools is also essential for this position.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to interface with a variety of technical and business personnel with courtesy, tact and diplomacy.
Solid communication skills (both oral and written) to direct, organize and communicate with others.
Some experience installing, configuring and supporting Laptop/Desktop computer hardware, monitors, printers and peripherals.
Experience with building,packaging, installing,deploying and repairing desktop software and hardware systems utilizing Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Jamf Pro, IBM BigFix, or other packaging tool is a plus.
