Responsibilities

• Recruit and expand high-quality P2P/OTC merchant resources; establish and maintain the merchant pool.
• Manage merchant onboarding: review merchant qualifications (basic KYC/AML) and drive the completion of the launch process.
• Oversee daily merchant operations: performance evaluation, policy communication, rules and process training, rate and credit management.
• Handle daily orders and disputes: monitor transaction anomalies, resolve order disputes, and coordinate with risk control and customer support for issue resolution.
• Optimize OTC/P2P operational processes and rules; promote the implementation of system and product improvement suggestions.
• Track and analyze business data (trading volume, active merchants, release timeliness, complaint rate, etc.); produce operational reports and optimization proposals.
• Collaborate closely with risk control, compliance, customer support, product, and technology teams to ensure compliant, secure, and stable operations.
• Organize merchant events and incentive programs to boost merchant engagement and platform transaction conversion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field preferred; experience in the South American market is a plus.
• At least 2 years of OTC/P2P merchant operations experience at an exchange; familiar with OTC workflows and risk control points; merchant acquisition experience is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of basic KYC/AML principles, payment channels, and common fiat trading scenarios (bank transfers, third-party payments, e-wallets, etc.).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with strong merchant acquisition and maintenance capabilities.
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency trading regulations and compliance requirements to ensure platform compliance.
• Strong risk awareness; able to quickly identify transaction anomalies and cooperate with risk control measures.
• Ability to work well under pressure with solid teamwork and execution skills.
• Proficiency in Spanish or English as a working language.
