Salary Range: ₱130,000 – ₱180,000

The Network Security Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure network infrastructures across hybrid and cloud environments. This role involves advanced configuration and troubleshooting of security technologies, ensuring network resilience against evolving cyber threats. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead complex security initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls across data centers and cloud environments.
• Develop, implement, and optimize security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with global security standards.
• Lead complex investigations of firewall issues, performance bottlenecks, and security incidents.
• Collaborate with network, SOC, and cloud teams to align firewall configurations with enterprise security strategies.
• Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, and capacity planning for security devices.
• Support incident response, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity operations.
• Participate in on-call rotations and handle critical incidents outside regular business hours.
• Apply ITIL processes for change and incident management.

Requirements

• Education: B.E., B.Tech., or MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in network security, including at least 3 years in a security architect role.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise with Palo Alto Firewalls (PA Series, Panorama, GlobalProtect) and Checkpoint Firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE, Cloudflare WAF, Illumio Core, Proofpoint, Tuffin SecureChange+, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA/ZDX.
• Deep understanding of VPNs, IPS/IDS, SSL decryption, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and security automation.
• Certifications (Highly Preferred):
• PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)
• CISSP, CISM, CCIE Security, or equivalent
• Vendor certifications from Checkpoint, Zscaler, Cisco, or Cloudflare

• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

• Other Requirements:
• Must be willing to work onsite in Taguig or Makati.
• Amenable to a flexible, 24x7 work environment.
