Job Summary

This role focuses on supporting, maintaining, and enhancing cloud-based D365 F&O environments, with a specialization in Azure integrations, Logic Apps, and API management.

The ideal candidate will work within a Managed Services model, ensuring high availability, seamless integrations, and continuous improvement of D365 F&O solutions. The Technical Consultant will also troubleshoot technical issues, optimize system performance, and provide expert guidance on cloud-native integrations.

Key Responsibilities

D365 F&O Support & Enhancements

• Provide technical support, monitoring, and issue resolution for D365 F&O in a SaaS environment.
• Maintain and enhance customizations, extensions, and configurations using X++ and LCS.
• Work with Microsoft’s Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps for deployments, hotfixes, and system updates.
• Implement and manage Data Management Framework (DMF) processes for data imports/exports.

Azure Integrations & Logic Apps

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based integrations between D365 F&O and external systems.
• Utilize Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, and Service Bus for integration workflows.
• Support real-time and batch data flows, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and optimize integration failures, latency issues, and API performance.

Managed Services & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor system health, performance, and security.
• Proactively identify and implement automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and third-party vendors to support evolving business needs.
• Ensure compliance with Microsoft best practices, security standards, and service level agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications & Experience

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in D365 F&O technical support and development.
• Strong hands-on experience with X++ programming, extensions, and LCS-based deployments.
• Expertise in Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, and Service Bus.
• Experience supporting SaaS-based D365 F&O environments in a Managed Services model.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) for integrations.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automation.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

Candidates with the following certifications will be highly preferred:

• MB-500: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer (Strongly Recommended – validates D365 F&O technical expertise)
• AZ-204: Microsoft Certified – Azure Developer Associate (Essential for Azure Logic Apps & Integrations)
• AZ-900: Microsoft Certified – Azure Fundamentals (Good for foundational cloud knowledge)
• PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate (Relevant for Power Automate and Dataverse integrations)
• MB-300: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Core Finance and Operations (Recommended for understanding overall F&O architecture)
